Celebrating Dante at Vassar
Co-sponsored by Vassar College Libraries, the Italian Department, History Department, and Medieval and Renaissance Studies.Louis J. Moffa of the class of 2018 and a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in Italian in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University will give a talk on "Dantean Astropoetics between Astronomy and Astrology: “L’amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle."" Students will read from the Commedia, under the direction of Prof. Alberto Gelmi.
